Biographical / Historical
The police killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor in 2020 led to an acceleration of antiracist protest activity around the country. They also sparked a national conversation about race, racism, and anti-racism unlike any we have seen before. Looking back, future historians will want to know what anti-racism looked like in our community.
The Anti-Racism Repository seeks to collect and preserve materials that chronicle efforts to fight racism in Muncie and the surrounding area, and/or by Muncie residents and Ball State students, faculty, and staff anywhere in the world. The Ball State University Libraries Archives and Special Collections invites you to submit materials that document anti-racism efforts on our campus, in our communities, and beyond.
