Series 2: Historic Costumes Collection photographs, 1910s-2010s
Scope and Contents
This collection includes digital photographs of select pieces of women's clothing designed in the 1910s through the 2010s from Ball State University's Mary Beeman Historic Costume Collection. Digital photographs were taken in 2009 and 2021.

Biographical / Historical
The physical Beeman Historic Costume Collection contains over 4,000 pieces of men's and women's apparel dating back to the 18th century. The collection began in the 1930s when the Frank C. Ball family presented Mary Beeman with a steamer trunk filled with items of apparel.
