The Catholic Student Union is a student group affiliated with the St. Francis Catholic Church and Newman Center of Ball State University. The union's council oversees planning and budgeting for the union's activities. Their has been an active Catholic student organization on Ball State's campus since 1938. The current Newman Center was built in 1972 and rededicated in 1997.
