Biographical Note / Historical Note / Administrative History
The History of Physical Education and Sports Filmstrips were produced c. 1974 by Ball State University professors Robert A. McCall, Ph.D., and Richard H. Caldemeyer, Ph.D., in conjunction with Historical Filmstrips. The filmstrips were conceived as a teaching aid for use in secondary and higher educational school settings.
There are six filmstrips and three cassette tapes in this series. Each cassette tape includes the narration for two filmstrips. The filmstrip and the audio cassette should be played simultaneously to provide the the full context for each specific period in physical education and sports history.
