This collection includes materials spanning from 1959 to 2015. It includes published and unpublished writings on political science and public administration, correspondence, and teaching materials from John Rouse, political science professor at Ball State University. It also includes materials relating to his PhD work, photographs, and personal papers; as well as video recordings relating to sports, public policy, and episodes of his local television show, "Public Affairs Roundtable."

John Rouse is a professor in the Department of Political Science at Ball State University. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in public administration, American government and politics, and organizational theory. He holds a B.A. from Furman University, and M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Rouse has been an Op-ed contributor to The Chicago Tribune, Christian Science Monitor. Dr. Rouse was a candidate for the Muncie City Council in 1995. He has been a columnist for the Sunday Editorial page of The Muncie Star and served as the Producer-Commentator for a weekly Indiana public affairs radio-television program on WIPB.
