Historical Note
Emens College-Community Auditorium was erected in 1964 and named after Ball State University's sixth president, John R. Emens (1945-1968). Before its initial opening, both Artist and Concert Series began in 1962 in Assembly Hall, now known as North Quad. Since the official dedication of Emens Auditorium on October 25th, 1964, the auditorium has welcomed renowned musical guests and performers from all over the world.
