Biographical Note / Historical Note / Administrative History
The Dance Program at Ball State University became a component of the Department of Theatre in 1985. Prior to that date, the dance program was organized under the Department of Women’s Physical Education (previously the Department of Physical Education). In 1991, the Department of Theatre was re-named the Department of Theatre and Dance.
