Administrative History
The Ball State University Department of Nursing was created in the 1970-1971 academic as part of the College of Fine and Applied Arts. In the 1983-1984 academic year Ball State University created the College of Applied Sciences and Technology, and the Department of Nursing was from the College of Fine and Applied Arts to the newly created college. The Department of Nursing was renamed the School of Nursing for the 1985-1986 academic year.
