Historical Note
The title Stet comes from a printers term (originally Latin for 'let it stand') which directs that a letter, word, or other matter marked for omission or correction is to be retained. Stet was a publication of the Department of English sponsored by the Sigma Tau Delta honor society. The journal was created in 1939 and continued publication until 1982. Stet featured student works of literary and creative writing in both prose and poetry along with the inclusion of some art and photography. Most issues were creatively printed on presses with the help of the Department of Journalism.
