Biographical / Historical
"Historic Muncie: Preserving Middletown's Neighborhoods" was an immersive learning project opportunity for Ball State students in 2011 and 2012. Under the direction of Telecommunications lecturer Chris Flook, the students produced documentaries and essays detailing Muncie's history and important sites. The team then created an interactive online museum using narrative and visual imagery to guide researchers through the city's historic districts and its architectural past.
This project was funded by the Hamer and Phyllis Shafer Fellows Program, a Provost Initiative Grant, and the Building Better Communities Fellowship Program. Community and campus partners included:
