Historical Note
"Pursuant to public notice the friends of the Sabbath School Cause met at 10 o' clock am at the Friends Church in the City of Muncie on Saturday March 17, 1877 for the purpose of forming a Sabbath School Union."
This minute book was initiated for the "Delaware County Sunday School Association," March 17, 1877. Anna M. Olin, a member of the congregation, was elected Secretary/Treasurer on October 13, 1915 and served one year. Another member, Carrie Newman, was elected Secretary/Treasurer on October 17, 1923, and was reelected each year through 1936, when these minutes end in this book.
The Association's name was changed to "Delaware County Council of Religious Education" in 1925.
