This collection includes documents, newsletters, and pamphlets from the Community Committee on Peace, from 1968-1971, as well as newsletters from the Muncie Peace Network, 1982 and 1983, and documents and pamphlets from the Center for Peace and Life Studies.

Legal title, copyright, and literary rights reside with Archives and Special Collections, Ball State University Libraries, Muncie, IN. All requests to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted to Archives and Special Collections.
In the summer of 1982, the Muncie Peace Network was established by Earl Conn (journalism professor at Ball State), John Barber (history professor at Ball State), Richard Newby (pastor of the Friends Church), John Peterson (physician in Muncie), and Father Ronald Voss ("guiding hand" of the Center for Peace and Life Studies). The Muncie Peace Network is a nonpartisan, nonsectarian alliance of persons who work for peace awareness and help others who wish to work for peace and justice. Unfortunately, no historical information could be found on the Community Committee on Peace or the Center for Peace and Life Studies.
