Biographical Note

Maud Neal Doughty was born near Cowan, Indiana on May 19, 1885. She lived in Richmond, Indiana from 1912 until 1920, and lived most of her life in East Central Indiana. She was employed in dining services at Ball State University, and was a member of Unity Spiritualist Church. Maud was married to Ancil Doughty, but she was widowed at the time of her death. She died at the age of 99 on October 31, 1984 in Muncie, Indiana. She is buried in West Lawn Cemetery in Hagerstown, Indiana.
