Biographical Note

Raymond E. White was born October 11, 1933 in Luling, Texas. He recieved his undergraduate degree in education from Southwest Texas State College in 1955. Raymond went on to pursue his M.A. in United States history along with a minor in political science from the University of Texas in 1957. In 1965 he completed his Ph.D in United States history. From 1967-1977 he worked at Ball State University, teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses in United States history. Dr. White passed away on August 14, 2016.
