Biographical Note
Norbert W. Hart was born in 1912 in Dunkirk, Indiana. He graduated from Dunkirk High School. Hart was controller from 1959 to 1965 and became controller for the Indiana Port Commission in 1965. He left his position in 1972. He was active at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, American Legion, Moose Lodge, the Knights of Columbus, the VFW and the YMCA. Hart died in a car accident in 1972 at the age of 60 in South Bend, Indiana.
