Biographical Note

This collection was donated by Mildred Veronese Beatty Atkins who was born November 29, 1909 in Highland Park, Illinois to Mildred Veronese Ryan (1869-1961) and Ross James Beatty (1854-1950). Beatty Atkins's mother, Mildred, was the sister of Susan Ryan Marsh, a prominent Muncie artist and philanthropist. Mildred Veronese Beatty married Warner Atkins.
