Historical Note
The Working in Middletown oral history project was inspired by Robert S. and Helen M. Lynd`s Middletown and Studs Terkel`s Working. It was funded by The Indiana Committee for the Humanities (ICH). Over the course of two years C. Warren Vander Hill, Dwight Hoover, Bruce Meyer, J. Paul Mitchell, and John Condran interviewed a variety of Muncie residents about their work experience.
