Biographical / Historical
Charlie Murray (1872-1941) was an American actor born in Laurel, Indiana. In approximately 1890, Charlie Murray and Oliver Trumball (Ollie Mack) formed the Murray and Mack musical vaudeville team and maintained the partnership for 21 years. One year later, Murray became a motion picture actor. He is credited with appearing in 283 films and directing 5 films between 1912 and 1938.
