Scope and Contents

This collection includes monographs, periodicals, papers, reports, and studies from the Center for the Study of Liberal Education for Adults (CSLEA), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and other organizations ranging from 1919 to 2008 regarding the theory, methods, and practice of adult and continuing education. A large number of the papers and reports in this collection have been signed by the author.

This collection was received by Archives and Special Collections as a donation from the Ball State University Department of Educational Studies on 2012/04/17. The Ball State University Department of Educational Studies received this collection as a gift from Syracuse University Special Collections Research Center on approximately 2011/10/26. The material in this collection was donated to the Syracuse University Special Collections Research Center by Alexander Charters and William Rivera.
