Biographical Note

Isabel Terry, born Marie Isabel Draesemer, first started out in Hollywood with her own business: Draesemer Radio Productions, where she wrote, coached, produced, directed and acted in radio dramas. She then began to write for television stations. In 1947, she opened the Isabelle Draesemer Agency and began a seventeen year career as a talent agent. In 1964, she married one of her clients, Tex Terry.

Tex Terry spent more than fifty years in the entertainment industry as a vaudeville performer, western film and television actor, and as a stuntman. In the 1940s, 50s, and 60s he received billing in more than fifty movies and almost as many television shows. In 1979, the couple moved to Tex’s home in Indiana and opened a tavern together. Tex continued an active life until his death in May 1985. Isabel Terry passed away in May of 2002.
