Joseph Trimmer collection
This collection includes audio and video recordings of teaching materials and presentations from Joseph Trimmer on audio reels, audio cassettes, VHS recordings, and DVDs. It also includes photographic slides from presentations on the Harlem Renaissance and James Dean as well as several doctoral dissertations which were written with Joseph Trimmer as advisor or committee chairperson. These materials span from 1970 to 2003.

Lawrence Hurst papers
This collection includes a series of seventeen volumes of Lawrence Hurst's diary as well as a series of works and publications created or collected by Hurst. The multi-volume diary spans from 1910 to 1970. The works and publications series includes a folder of newspaper clippings of material about or written by Hurst, several scholarly articles authored by Hurst, and a copy of his autobiographical work 61 Years in the School Room published in 1952.
