Frederick Putnam diaries
The collection includes the 13 volume diary of Frederick Putnam, dating from May 1846 to January 1900. The diaries contain Putnam’s reflections and observations of various events that occurred during his life as a resident of Muncie. Also included are transcriptions of the diaries dated 1846 to 1883 and photocopies of the diaries dated 1883 to 1900.

Galyean family papers
This collection includes journals, photographs, and genealogy records from Galyean Family in Blountsville, Indiana ranging from 1866 to 1987. Elizabeth "Lizzie" C. Bainter Galyean's journal includes Civil War era poetry, ledgers, and census records. The collection also includes a register of the deaths of friends of Sylvia Galyean, as well as publications regarding Galyean family genealogy between 1763-1987. PSC.358 includes two photographs of the farm in Blountsville in the 1950s.

General William Harrison Kemper papers
This collection includes scrapbooks, correspondence, diaries, publications, newspaper clippings and speeches by Dr. Kemper from 1859-1927. The scrapbooks include information on Dr. Kemper’s travels, including trips to Egypt and Europe, from 1905 to 1913. The correspondence series includes letters between Dr. Kemper and Hattie Kemper during and after the Civil War, from 1859 to 1875.
Geneva Gwin papers
This collection includes documents related to Geneva Gwin’s leisure activities and Forrest Gwin’s employment at Ball Corporation in Muncie, Indiana from 1924-1970. Also included are a number of business transactions pertaining to Mr. Fred F. Crossfield, possibly Geneva Gwin’s first husband.
George F. Beatty papers
The George F. Beatty Research Collection primarily contains materials pertaining to research and work in India and geography, with the exception being a small section dedicated to Ball State sports. This collection includes academic materials, picture studies and clippings, projects, receipts, reports, and information about BSU athletics.
P77 includes photographs of India, including photographs used in Dr. Beatty’s master’s thesis.

The collection includes correspondence from 1924-1934, including a warning from the Ku Klux Klan in 1923, printed material from the Ku Klux Klan, newspaper clippings, and a scrapbook from the Dale family covering the life of George R. Dale through his battles with the Ku Klux Klan and the United States federal and state court systems.

The collection seems to be mostly the papers of Taylor Gibson and his work as township trustee. It includes a brief journal, a teacher's contract book and a series of warranty deeds, mortgage and marriage contracts, dated 1868-1906.
Gilbert and Andrews family papers and photographs
The collection contains an extensive family tree, three nineteenth-century land deeds, a tax letter on Andrews business letterhead, an 1893 list of soldiers buried in Beech Grove Cemetery, and a funeral bill. Related photographs are in PSC 39 and PSC 177.
