Delight Bobilya diary collection

This collection contains the diary of Delight Bobilya (Wier) kept from August 31 1940-August 30, 1945 during which time she was an undergrad at Ball State University. The diary details information about her life, relationships, and the effect of World War II on student life. Three versions of the diary are kept in the collection including the original, and a typed and bound version transcription created by Delight's daughter, Rebecca Wier Lock, in both physical and digital versions.

Frederick Putnam diaries

The collection includes the 13 volume diary of Frederick Putnam, dating from May 1846 to January 1900. The diaries contain Putnam’s reflections and observations of various events that occurred during his life as a resident of Muncie. Also included are transcriptions of the diaries dated 1846 to 1883 and photocopies of the diaries dated 1883 to 1900.

Galyean family papers

This collection includes journals, photographs, and genealogy records from Galyean Family in Blountsville, Indiana ranging from 1866 to 1987. Elizabeth "Lizzie" C. Bainter Galyean's journal includes Civil War era poetry, ledgers, and census records. The collection also includes a register of the deaths of friends of Sylvia Galyean, as well as publications regarding Galyean family genealogy between 1763-1987. PSC.358 includes two photographs of the farm in Blountsville in the 1950s.

General William Harrison Kemper papers

Thomas L. Ryan diary, 1886

Thomas Neely diaries

Scope and Contents Thomas Neely began keeping a diary on January 1, 1860, and continued to make regular entries with few interruptions for almost 42 years. When his sight began to fail in 1897, his daughter Jennie continued making entries until his death until 1901. The collection contains five volumes of Thomas Neely’s diaries, dating from April 1867 to August 20, 1901.
