A separate photo collection, PSC 170, contains twenty-four items on various aspects of Madison Street United Methodist.

Muncie smallpox epidemic of 1893 newspaper clippings
The collection contains clippings from the Muncie Daily Times (August 21, 1893 to September 25, 1893), and the Muncie Morning News (August 18, 1893 to November 4, 1893) on the smallpox epidemic in Muncie. Also included is an outline of the event and two excerpts from the "History of Delaware County, Indiana" and "A Twentieth Century History of Delaware County, Indiana."
Ned Griner research files for Gas Boom Society
This collection consists of Ned Griner’s research materials for his book, Gas Boom Society. The bulk of the files are copies of news clippings from the late 1800s on a variety of topics. The majority of the clippings are from Muncie newspapers. Also included in the collection are correspondence from Marsh/Ryan family members to Griner and correspondence from Emily Kimbrough to Griner. There are two rough drafts of chapters from the book on Sports and the Holidays.

Ryan-Stradling-Shirey-Puntenney-Tuhey families papers
The collection of family history contains newspaper clippings, funeral notices, a Ryan family publication, a genealogy of the Stradling family, correspondence, and photographs. Most notably, this collection contains the Civil War letters of John D. Stradling, and the personal papers of J. C. Ryan documenting Muncie businesses and relief work in Trebizond, Turkey.
Sharley B. DeMotte scrapbooks
This collection includes scrapbooks from Sharley B. DeMotte, founder and director of the Ball State Teachers College News Bureau. The scrapbooks were compiled in Muncie, Indiana and range from 1925 to 1954 covering subjects such as academics, student activities, World War II, and the Student Army Training Corps.
