The collection includes materials from the professional career, organizational memberships and committees, and publications of Betty Harris. Documents here include information pertaining to local historical, religious and women’s clubs, community service involvement, and her work as a writer. Also included are Kennedy Assassination wire reports and issues of the Muncie Evening Press covering the Kennedy Assassination in 1963.

The collection includes records materials related to the business and activities of the East Central Neighborhood Association. Included are guides to the Old Washington Street Festival (1979 and 1980) and the festival's Walking Tour guides (1977-1986). Additionally, the collection includes papers creating the Emily Kimbrough Historic District, a study of the neighborhood, and minutes of the Board of Directors meetings from 1989 and 1990.

Scope and Contents Humpback Barn Festival Records contain documents and activity information pertaining to the 401 Poetry Group, Christian groups, ceremonies for artistic endeavors, and the Humpback Barn Festival itself.
