Bracken family papers

Caldwell, High, and Meeker families papers
The Caldwell, Meeker, and High families papers includes correspondence from the Caldwell, Meeker, and High families. The collection is divided into series by family. The Caldwell family papers includes correspondence and documents concerning family and business affairs (1857-1928). The High family papers includes correspondence between Ansen High and his wife Mary during the Civil War (1862). The Meeker family papers includes correspondence from Minor Meeker (1836-1885).
Cassady and Nelson families papers and photographs
The collection includes information and memorabilia of the Cassady and Nelson families. Included are correspondence, account books, programs, photographs, and obituaries of various family members from 1759 to 1961. Also included are the Civil War letters and diaries and other papers of D.W. (Derastus) Nelson, Louise Nelson’s brother from 1858-1865.

Galyean family papers
This collection includes journals, photographs, and genealogy records from Galyean Family in Blountsville, Indiana ranging from 1866 to 1987. Elizabeth "Lizzie" C. Bainter Galyean's journal includes Civil War era poetry, ledgers, and census records. The collection also includes a register of the deaths of friends of Sylvia Galyean, as well as publications regarding Galyean family genealogy between 1763-1987. PSC.358 includes two photographs of the farm in Blountsville in the 1950s.
General William Harrison Kemper papers
This collection includes scrapbooks, correspondence, diaries, publications, newspaper clippings and speeches by Dr. Kemper from 1859-1927. The scrapbooks include information on Dr. Kemper’s travels, including trips to Egypt and Europe, from 1905 to 1913. The correspondence series includes letters between Dr. Kemper and Hattie Kemper during and after the Civil War, from 1859 to 1875.

The collection of family history contains newspaper clippings, funeral notices, a Ryan family publication, a genealogy of the Stradling family, correspondence, and photographs. Most notably, this collection contains the Civil War letters of John D. Stradling, and the personal papers of J. C. Ryan documenting Muncie businesses and relief work in Trebizond, Turkey.
Sarah E. McVicker correspondence and photographs

Most of the letters in this collection were exchanged between Solomon Rice and his wife, Hannah Rice. A smaller portion of the collection includes letters to Mattie Rice from her family and friends. Also includes a photograph of Solomon and Hannah Rice.
