This collection includes periodicals and monographs from local Indiana adult educators and Ball State University Teachers College faculty in Muncie, IN ranging from 1967 to 2009 regarding adult educational theory and practice.
This collection includes audio and video recordings of teaching materials and presentations from Joseph Trimmer on audio reels, audio cassettes, VHS recordings, and DVDs. It also includes photographic slides from presentations on the Harlem Renaissance and James Dean as well as several doctoral dissertations which were written with Joseph Trimmer as advisor or committee chairperson. The works and publications series includes a folder of newspaper clippings of material about or written by Hurst, several scholarly articles authored by Hurst, and a copy of his autobiographical work 61 Years in the School Room published in 1952.
