Glass manufacture

The collection contains photocopies of correspondence, invoices, letters, and telegrams related primarily to fruit jar manufacturing and sales companies, Indiana glass companies, and companies that bought fruit jars from the McKell and Company between 1910 and 1917. Folders are listed alphabetically by company and chronologically by year respectively.

This collection consists of a series of monographs on manufacturers, utility companies, and local life in Muncie, Indiana. The monographs were published between 1938 and 1939 by the Muncie Board of Education for use in junior high schools.

This collection includes administrative records, financial records, glass formula records and other materials from The Sneath Glass Company in Hartford City, Indiana ranging from 1894 to 2000 regarding the business and production of glass, and a historical account of the company.
